Should there be a bacholerette party?

I love my wife more than anything in the world and trust her with all my heart. We were married almost 2 years ago. Recently we decided to go through with a full wedding ceremony (Convalidation) since our actual marriage was done via a civil ceremony, My wife wants to have a bacholerette party since she never got to have one the first time. I told her numerous times that she should not have one. I trust and love her with all my heart, but since we are already married, I think this sort of thing is not right. It is one thing if we had not already taken our vows, but we have. I am not sure if my reaction should be considered childish or if my concern is genuine. Suggestions?
