For christians: Friend had amnesia..?

Perhaps she is the person who she is. We adapt to life and change over many years. Our hearts tend to harden by all the experiences and the things we put into our mind. Maybe this is how she would be prior to going through all the life experiences. I know some of the things I struggle with as a Christian are a result of my upbringing, it's hard to imagine being without the hindrances I am well-aquainted with. They have become the quirks of my personality.
